5 Reasons to Hold Your Event in Camden

We may be biased, but we think Camden is one of the best places in London for you to hold your event and here’s why….

1. Location, Location, Location

Camden Town is so easy for you and your delegates to get to. Camden Town tube station is on the Northern line, which is just one stop from Kings Cross mainline station and just two stops from Euston mainline station. As soon as you exit the tube station, you step into the centre of the vibrant Camden Town. Home to the famous Camden Market and less than 5 minutes’ walk to ORT House. There are also many regular bus routes through Camden Town, connecting you to all over London.

2. Food Glorious Food

Whilst we recommend the delicious lunches available for you and your clients at ORT House, there is also a plethora of places to eat in Camden Town. There are many artisanal and unique independents, along with a huge amount of international chains offering something for everyone. You’ll find Itsu, Gail’s, Pret a Manger, Five Guys, Whole Foods, Mez and many more, all within a few minutes’ walk of ORT House. If street food is more your thing, try some global delicacies from Camden Market, you will be spoilt for choice. Eating is always an adventure in Camden Market, talking of which….

3. Fabulous Camden Market

People travel from overseas to visit the world-famous Camden Market and if you hold your event here, your delegates can easily pop to the market at lunchtime! With over 1000 eclectic shops, stalls, bars and cafes you will find amazing food, vintage and original fashion, hand-crafted accessories, unique gifts and plenty more. There is something for everyone. Check it out here

4. Time for Music

Camden Town has long been known as the hub of UK Rock ‘n’ Roll, so it has more than it’s fair share of decent music venues. At the end of a productive day at your event, your delegates can wander down the road and experience some great live music. There’s something on at the Jazz Café every night, which is directly on the route from to ORT House to Camden Town tube station.

5. Fresh air at lunchtime

Whilst some clients like to network at lunchtime, other clients like their delegates to take a break, to refresh and regroup. There’s lots of street art dotted around Camden that memorialises the late, great Amy Winehouse and you can find a map and more information on the walk here The beautiful Regents Park is close by, and a stroll down Camden Lock is a wonderful way to shift your focus, so you return to your event with a fresh perspective. Even more convenient for you and your clients, is ORT House’s very own pretty and private garden. It’s a tranquil and lush space, allowing you and your clients to easily take some time out and clear your mind. So what are you waiting for – get in touch to book your meeting in Camden Town today!
